You control an Allied submarine in the Pacific during World War II, tasked with sinking enemy ships and subs while avoiding destroyers that hunt you. The main view is a sonar screen showing contacts as simple blips; you must interpret their movement, set your own depth and speed, and fire torpedoes with careful timing. Enemy destroyers drop depth charges if they detect you, and the sound of their propellers gets louder as they close in, which really sells the tension. The pacing is deliberate, almost slow, until suddenly it isnโt; one mistake can put you in a frantic evasion that ends badly. Playing it feels like a constant, quiet calculation where every decision matters.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
