Super Mario Flash is one of those classic browser games that just nails the feel of old-school Mario. You’ve got the same running, jumping, and coin-grabbing action, but now you can play it right in your browser—no console needed. The controls are simple: arrows to move, space to jump (though I wish there was a run button).
It’s not perfect—some of the physics feel a little floaty compared to the real deal—but it’s surprisingly close for a Flash game. The first level throws you right into the action with Goombas to stomp and question blocks to hit. Just don’t expect any fancy power-ups beyond the mushroom. Still, it’s a solid way to kill 10 minutes if you’re craving some nostalgia.
