The controls feel a little tighter, some of those annoying jumps are less punishing, and there are these tiny surprises in levels you thought you knew by heart. Found a hidden vine in the first Ghost House that definitely wasn’t there before.
It’s still the same Dinosaur Land you remember, just... better? Like someone went back and fixed all the little things you never realized bothered you. Even Yoshi handles less like a shopping cart with legs. If you’ve played the original to death, this’ll make you grin like an idiot when you spot the changes. And if you haven’t—lucky you, this is the version to try first.
Also, whoever tweaked the cape physics deserves a medal. Flying’s actually fun now.
