Play Super Tennis Champs Online
1995 Amiga tennis game with 16 unique players, dynamic court surfaces (hard, grass, clay), and solo/doubles modes including tournaments and Grand Slam circuits. Features simplified serving and varied playstyles.

Super Tennis Champs came out on the Amiga in 1995, developed by Audiogenic Software Ltd. It was one of those solid sports titles that showed up late in the system's life, offering a straightforward take on tennis without a lot of the graphical flash you might see elsewhere. It fit right in with what Amiga owners expected from a sports sim at the time: functional, playable, and built more for fun than for realism.
You control a tennis player from an isometric view, moving them around the court to hit forehands and backhands. The main goal is to win matches across various tournaments and Grand Slam events, either alone in singles or with a partner in doubles. Key mechanics include a simplified serving system where timing matters more than complex inputs, and the different court surfaces (grass, clay, hard) actually affect how the ball moves and bounces. The pacing is fairly quick, and the difficulty can spike against certain opponents, but it never feels unfair. It feels responsive and satisfying when you place a shot just out of your opponent's reach.
