You control Superman, flying across Metropolis to stop crimes and confront villains like Metallo. The main goal is to protect the city by responding to emergencies, fighting enemies, and preventing disasters. Signature mechanics include using the touch screen for heat vision and freeze breath attacks, along with navigating the open city from a top down perspective. The pacing is constant, with new threats appearing frequently, and the difficulty can spike during boss fights or timed missions. It feels like a busy day in the life of a superhero, always rushing to the next problem.
