You control Superman, flying freely across Metropolis to stop various threats. The main goal is to protect the city from villains like Metallo and save citizens from disasters. Signature mechanics include using Superman's heat vision and freeze breath to solve environmental puzzles, along with screen by screen brawls against enemy drones. The pacing is uneven, with moments of frantic action followed by tedious escort missions. It feels like a game that never quite figured out how to make being Superman consistently fun.
