Play Sword of Honour Online
Sneak through Lord Toranaga’s castle, dodging spikes and guards—starts with just fists, but soon you’re swinging kusarigamas and climbing walls like an 80s ninja flick. Brutal jumps, clunky icons, but nailing that perfect run feels great.

Sword of Honour was part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, though it originally came from a smaller developer whose name doesn't ring many bells today. It was one of those early DOS action-adventures that tried to blend exploration with combat, typical of the era when games were still figuring out how to tell stories through pixels and keyboard commands.
You control a lone warrior tasked with reclaiming a stolen artifact by navigating a sprawling, screen-by-screen castle filled with enemies and traps. The gameplay involves methodical exploration, using a sword for close combat and occasionally a bow for ranged threats, while searching for keys to unlock new areas. The pacing is deliberate, almost cautious, as the difficulty spikes quickly and mistakes are punished harshly. It feels tense and demanding, rewarding patience more than haste.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
