Game Overview

Taiketsu!! Brass Numbers is one of those SNES games that makes you wonder how you never heard of it before. You drop numbered tiles onto a grid, trying to match them before your opponent does—sounds simple, right? Then suddenly the screen’s a mess of flashing combos, and you’re desperately slamming tiles to avoid getting buried.

It’s got that perfect mix of chaos and strategy—like if Tetris and Puyo Puyo had a hyperactive kid. The two-player mode is where it really shines, with those "oh no you didn’t" moments when someone pulls off a ridiculous chain right before you lose. The sprites are chunky, the music’s frantic, and the whole thing just feels like a lost arcade cabinet from 1994.

Not gonna lie, the first few rounds might leave you button-mashing in panic, but once you get the hang of setting up traps and combos, it’s stupidly satisfying. If you dig competitive puzzle games with personality, this one’s a blast.
