Konami brought Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game to MS-DOS in 1991, part of the wave of home conversions that tried to capture the feel of the coin-op original. It was a time when having a beat 'em up at home still felt like a novelty, even if the graphics and sound took a hit on the PC speaker. You got the same four turtles, the same levels, and the same urge to throw a pizza party in your living room.

You pick one of the turtles and move screen by screen, punching and kicking through waves of Foot Soldiers and other enemies. The main goal is straightforward: fight from the city streets to the Technodrome, saving April and stopping Shredder. Signature moves include throwing enemies across the screen and using special attacks that cost a little health, which adds a risk-reward layer to crowded fights. The pacing is fast, though the difficulty can spike sharply on later stages, especially when dealing with bosses like Bebop or Rocksteady. It feels chaotic and loud in the best way, like you're elbow-deep in a cartoon brawl.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
