Play The Amazing Spider-Man on Msdos Online
Swing through janky side-scrolling levels where Mysterio’s goons shamble into frame and Spidey moves like a stiff action figure—pure 90s DOS charm.

Game Overview
Man, The Amazing Spider-Man on MS-DOS is such a weird little time capsule. You swing into this side-scrolling action game where Mysterio—yeah, the fishbowl-headed weirdo—kidnaps Mary Jane because of course he does. The whole thing feels like a B-movie, with levels styled after different film genres. One minute you're dodging traps in a noir detective scene, the next you're hopping across rooftops in what looks like a cheesy horror flick.
Controls are janky by today's standards (good luck nailing those web swings at first), but there's something charming about how it leans into the camp. Spider-Man’s animations are hilariously stiff, and the enemies just sort of… wander into frame. Still, figuring out how to navigate each screen without face-planting into a pit or some random henchman’s fist is weirdly satisfying. It’s not the smoothest ride, but it’s pure late-’80s comic book nonsense in the best way.
If you’re into retro games with personality—flaws and all—this one’s a trip down memory lane.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
