The Brainies came out in 1991 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series from Titus Interactive. It was a time when puzzle platformers were finding their footing on PC, often relying on simple graphics and clever design over flash. This game fit right into that experimental, sometimes quirky, corner of early 90s computing.

You control a team of round-headed creatures, guiding them one by one through a series of single-screen rooms. The goal is to get every Brainy to the exit, which usually involves stacking them to reach higher platforms, activating switches, or avoiding hazards. Their movement is deliberately clumsy; they waddle slowly and can easily fall or get stuck, so careful planning and timing are essential. The challenge comes from managing their limited mobility and the environmental puzzles, which require patience and a bit of trial and error. Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
