Play The Farmers Daughter Online
Dodge pitchforks and angry farmhands while sneaking around to woo the farmer’s daughter—her dad’s got other plans, and they involve chasing you off his land.

The Farmers Daughter came out in 1983 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, developed by Nocturnal Software. It was a simple, text-based adventure typical of the era, running on early PCs where imagination did a lot of the heavy lifting. You didn't get flashy graphics, just descriptions and commands, which was pretty standard for the time.
You play as a young suitor trying to win the affection of the farmer's daughter. Your main goal is to navigate the farmstead, avoid her protective father and his hired hands, and find opportunities to speak with her. The gameplay involves typing commands to move between locations like the barn, the field, and the farmhouse, while managing to stay out of sight. It's a game of patience and timing, with a trial-and-error feel as you learn the patterns of the characters blocking your path. Getting caught means starting over, so each attempt feels tense and deliberate. The whole experience is a low-stakes but charming puzzle of social stealth.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
