It was a time when side-scrolling action games were common, and this one fit right in with its straightforward approach to the source material. You step into the shoes of a Corleone foot soldier, navigating a pixelated version of New York's criminal landscape.
You control a character moving from left to right, shooting rival gang members and avoiding civilians; hitting an innocent person means instant failure. The game requires careful aim and timing, especially during the challenging boss fights that test your reflexes. Your main goal is to rise through the ranks by completing missions, culminating in a dramatic showdown where you take down a helicopter. It feels tense and unforgiving, demanding precision with every shot you fire.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
