Ever played Lemmings but wished it had more cavemen and spears? The Humans on SNES is this weird little puzzle game where you guide a tribe of prehistoric goobers through clunky, scrolling levels—teaching them how to use tools, build ladders, or even (accidentally) set things on fire. You control one guy at a time, switching between them to stack rocks, poke dinosaurs, or whatever else the level demands. It’s all about figuring out the right order of operations before the clock runs out.
Some levels are straightforward—just grab the wheel and roll to the exit—while others turn into chaotic group projects where someone always gets left behind. The controls take a minute to get used to (expect a few faceplants into pits early on), but there’s something weirdly satisfying about watching your little tribe finally cooperate. Just don’t expect them to be smart about it.
