Play The Immortal Online
You creep through a wizard’s nightmare dungeon where every spike, trap, and monster tears you apart in gruesome detail—save often.

So The Immortal—this old-school isometric dungeon crawler from the MS-DOS days—is brutal in the best (and worst) ways. You play as a wizard hunting for your missing mentor in this nightmarish labyrinth, and let me tell you, everything in there wants you dead. Spikes, monsters, traps that come out of nowhere—I lost count of how many times I got impaled within the first 10 minutes.
The NES version toned down the gore, but if you play the original Apple IIGS or Amiga release, expect some shockingly graphic deaths. Like, your guy doesn’t just fall over—he gets dismembered. The music’s weirdly good too, especially the IIGS version with Douglas Fulton’s eerie synth tracks.
It’s one of those games where you die constantly just to learn what not to do next time. Trial by fire, literally. If you’re into punishing old-school adventures with a dark fantasy vibe, this one’s worth digging up.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
