Game Overview

Master Quest is basically Ocarina of Time, but someone cranked the difficulty to eleven. The dungeons you thought you knew? They're completely rearranged—enemies hit harder, puzzles will make you scratch your head, and even the map layouts feel unfamiliar. I remember walking into the Deku Tree thinking "I've got this," only to immediately get lost because the rooms were mirrored.

It's still the same epic Zelda adventure, just... meaner. The N64 version feels especially brutal compared to later ports, with some truly devious twists on classic puzzles. If you've played the original a dozen times and want that first-time confusion again, this is the closest you'll get.

Fair warning: bring patience. That Water Temple redesign still gives me nightmares.
