Game Overview

Okay, so The Lion King 1½ on GBA is basically Timon and Pumbaa crashing Simba’s story—and it’s way funnier than it has any right to be. You jump around as Timon (who’s weirdly good at platforming for a meerkat) and bulldoze stuff as Pumbaa, all while their commentary makes it feel like you’re playing through a lost blooper reel from the movie.

The levels are short and sweet, with those bright, chunky GBA colors that somehow make the Pride Lands pop even on a tiny screen. And yeah, you’ll recognize the music—half the fun is humming along while Timon faceplants into a pile of leaves. It’s not a long game, but it’s got that Disney charm dialed up to 11. Perfect for when you want something silly and nostalgic without committing to a marathon session.

Honestly, my only complaint is that there isn’t more of it. If you ever quoted "Hakuna Matata" as a kid, this one’s a no-brainer.
