Remember those old Smurfs games from the 90s? This is the DOS version, and it's exactly as janky and charming as you'd expect. You control a little blue dude running through forests, jumping over mushrooms (why are they always so big?), and collecting... whatever Smurfs collect. The controls take some getting used to—expect a few accidental deaths before you figure out the timing.
It’s not the prettiest or smoothest version out there, but there’s something weirdly satisfying about the way the screen scrolls in jerky chunks. Feels like playing a cartoon that keeps buffering. Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
