If you grew up watching The Wild Thornberrys, this GBA game is a surprisingly fun little adaptation of the movie. You bounce between Eliza, Darwin, and even Donnie, doing everything from rescuing cheetah cubs to chucking pineapples at poachers (yes, really). The story mode’s a bit linear, but it nails the show’s chaotic energy—one minute you’re sneaking through a British boarding school, the next you’re racing dolphins underwater.

Where it shines, though, is the mini-games. Some are simple (like sliding tile puzzles), but others are weirdly addictive—especially the one where you guide an elephant through a maze as Donnie, or the crab racing multiplayer mode where you set up arrows like a tiny crab traffic director. The card games are hit-or-miss, but the dolphin dodging sharks? Weirdly tense.

It’s not deep, but for a licensed game, it’s got way more charm than expected. Just don’t question why Darwin fights poachers with fruit.
