Play Tigers on the Prowl 2 Online
You command tiny tanks across hex grids, sweating every move—the AI punishes mistakes hard, and suddenly your best unit’s flaming wreckage. That reload button gets worn out fast.

Tigers on the Prowl 2 came out in 1996 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series, developed by HPS Simulations. It was a turn-based tactical wargame set in World War II, arriving at a time when detailed simulations were gaining ground among strategy enthusiasts. The game focused on armored combat, placing you in command of German or Allied forces across a variety of historical scenarios.
You control individual tanks, anti-tank guns, and infantry units on a hex-based map, issuing movement and attack orders each turn. The main objective is to outmaneuver and destroy enemy forces while preserving your own. Key mechanics include detailed line-of-sight calculations, armor penetration modeling, and morale effects on your units. The pacing is deliberate, almost chess-like, and the difficulty is steep; a single mispositioned tank can be quickly eliminated by a hidden anti-tank gun. Playing it feels like a tense, methodical puzzle where every decision carries weight.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
