Play Time Trax (Europe) Online
Hunt down fugitives across time, platform through challenges, and use a stun pistol and holograms to outsmart enemies in Time Trax on SNES.
Time Trax came out on the Super Nintendo in 1994, published by Malibu Games. It was part of that wave of licensed titles based on the short lived TV show, and it fits right in with other action platformers of that era on the system. You don't hear much about it now, but it had a certain look and feel that was pretty common for the time.
You play as Darien Lambert, a lawman from the future sent back to our present to capture fugitives who have escaped into the past. The main objective is to hunt down these criminals across different time periods, using a mix of platforming and combat. Your primary tool is a stun pistol, but the game introduces some unique mechanics like deploying holographic decoys to distract enemies and using a device that can briefly slow down time. The pacing is methodical, often requiring careful observation of enemy patterns and environmental navigation rather than pure speed. It can be a difficult game, with some unforgiving jumps and enemies that respawn quickly. Playing it feels like a deliberate puzzle at times, where each screen is a small challenge to be solved with your limited tools.
