Play Tiny Toon Adventures (Japan) Online

Buster Bunny bounces through chaotic cartoon levels, Plucky chucks plungers at goons, and you dodge Elmyra’s grabby hands—feels like playing an episode of the show with slightly janky NES controls.

Game Overview

Okay, so Tiny Toon Adventures on NES is basically what happens if someone took the cartoon’s chaos and crammed it into a side-scroller. You’ve got Buster Bunny bouncing around like he’s on a sugar rush, Plucky Duck tossing plungers (because of course he does), and levels that feel like they’re ripped straight from the show—except now you’re the one dodging Elmyra’s creepy hugs.

The Japanese version never made it overseas, which is a shame because it’s surprisingly solid. The controls are a little stiff at first (this is an NES game), but once you get used to it, there’s something weirdly satisfying about knocking out enemies with a well-timed somersault. And the music? Peak 8-bit cheerfulness—you’ll be humming it after five minutes.

It’s not the deepest platformer, but if you grew up with the show, the nostalgia hits hard. Just try not to groan when you realize Montana Max is, yet again, the worst.
