Play Tomb Raider - Legend (EU) Online

I picked up Tomb Raider: Legend on the Nintendo DS back in 2006, a portable version of the console game developed by Crystal Dynamics. It was a solid attempt to bring a full 3D action-adventure experience to the handheld, fitting right in with that era's push for more complex games on the go. You control Lara Croft, of course, on a globe-trotting quest to uncover the truth behind a mythical sword and her mother's disappearance.

You spend your time navigating treacherous environments, solving environmental puzzles that often involve shifting blocks or timing your swings across gaps, and engaging in combat with a mix of acrobatic gunplay and melee attacks. The DS version uses the touch screen for managing inventory and some context-sensitive actions, though the core movement and shooting rely on the buttons and d-pad. The pacing is fairly brisk, moving you from one perilous situation to the next, though some camera angles can make platforming tricky. It feels satisfying to finally piece together a puzzle's solution and proceed deeper into a forgotten tomb.
