Play Tomb Raider - Legend (Supremacy) Online
Explore ancient ruins, solve puzzles, and battle enemies as Lara Croft hunts for artifacts in Tomb Raider - Legend on the Nintendo DS.
I picked up Tomb Raider: Legend on the Nintendo DS back in 2006, a portable take on Lara's adventure developed by Crystal Dynamics. It was a solid attempt to bring that style of exploration and puzzle solving to the dual screen handheld, fitting right in with the era's push for 3D action on the go. The hardware had its limits, but it was cool to see her globe-trotting quest condensed into something you could play anywhere.
You control Lara Croft as she searches for ancient artifacts tied to her mother's disappearance, navigating treacherous ruins and tombs across the world. The touch screen manages your inventory and gear selection, while the main action plays out on the top screen. You'll do a lot of platforming, shimmying along ledges and timing jumps across bottomless pits, combined with environmental puzzles that often involve moving blocks or finding hidden switches. Combat is straightforward, mixing melee attacks with aimed pistol shots, though the camera can be tricky in tight spaces. The pacing is fairly brisk, with each level offering a mix of traversal, light puzzle solving, and enemy encounters. It feels satisfying to piece together a route through a crumbling temple and make it to the next checkpoint.
