You control Tony Hawk (or another skater) in a straight shot to the bottom of various urban and mountain courses. The main goal is simple: finish first. The signature mechanics are all about managing speed; you use the touch screen for special boosts and have to perform grinds and manuals to keep your momentum while narrowly avoiding traffic, obstacles, and sharp turns. It's a fast, often unforgiving game where one mistake can cost you the race. The feeling is pure, frantic urgency from top to bottom.
