Play Top Gear 2 on Snes Online
Race through weirdly mashed-up tracks across 16 countries, dodging puddles and grabbing nitro boosts while scraping together cash for better tires and engines. It's messy, fast, and somehow makes sense when you're in the thick of it.

Game Overview
Top Gear 2 on SNES feels like a mix between Lotus Turbo Challenge and a slightly chaotic road trip. You start off racing through 16 countries, but don’t expect realism—Monza’s track somehow ends up in the middle of Ayers Rock, and Hockenheim’s layout pops up in Vancouver. It’s weird, but it works.
Each country has four races, and you’re up against 19 other cars. Finish in the top 10 to keep going, but you’ll want to crack the top six if you want prize money. The upgrades are where things get interesting—engine, tires (wet or dry, because weather happens), shocks, gearboxes. No discounts for trading up, so save for the good stuff early.
The nitro boost is your best friend, but you’ve got to use it smartly. Random speed boosts and cash bonuses pop up on the track, along with puddles and barriers that’ll send you spinning if you’re not careful. Winning all four races in a championship gets you the next password, so no save states here—just old-school persistence.
It’s not the prettiest racer, but there’s something satisfying about nailing the perfect upgrade path and finally smoking the competition.
