Game Overview

Trivial Pursuit: A New Beginning came out for the Amiga in 1988, developed by Domark Limited. It was one of those games that tried to bring a board game feel to the computer, back when plenty of studios were experimenting with digital versions of tabletop classics. The Amiga's color and sound capabilities gave it a polished look compared to some other systems at the time.

You guide a small spacecraft through a series of sectors, answering trivia questions from six categories to progress. Each correct answer lets you move forward, while wrong ones force you to wait or backtrack. The main goal is to reach the center of the galaxy by proving your knowledge to the Elders. You plot your course on a star map, choosing which paths to take and which questions to risk. The pacing is deliberate, almost methodical; you have to think about your route as much as your answers. It feels like a slow but satisfying test of wits and memory.
