Game Overview
TRON: Evolution on the PlayStation Portable came out in 2010, developed by Propaganda Games and published by Disney Interactive Studios. It was one of the few TRON games on the PSP, arriving around the same time as the film TRON: Legacy, and it tried to bring that sleek, digital world into a portable format.
You play as Anon, a system monitor, navigating the Grid to uncover a conspiracy. The game mixes platforming, like wall-running and jumping across gaps, with combat using your identity disc; you can throw it, block, and perform combos. You also get into light cycle segments, racing and avoiding opponent trails. The pacing is fairly quick, though some platforming sections can feel a bit finicky on the smaller screen. It captures that high-speed, glowing aesthetic of the films, making you feel like you're inside the machine.
