Game Overview

Ever played a sci-fi shooter that feels like it’s moving at 200% speed? That’s Tsumi to Batsu for you. You’re thrown into this neon-drenched future where everything’s either shooting at you or exploding—sometimes both. The controls take a second to click (N64 sticks weren’t exactly precision tools), but once they do, you’re weaving through enemy fire like some kind of cyborg acrobat.

What surprised me was how much the game leans into its weird, almost dreamlike atmosphere. One minute you’re blasting robots in a floating city, the next you’re dodging lasers in what looks like a deranged space cathedral. It’s chaotic, but in that way where you can’t stop grinning even when you die for the tenth time.

Definitely one of those hidden N64 gems that makes you wonder how it slipped under the radar. If you’ve got a thing for fast, frantic shooters with a side of Japanese sci-fi weirdness, this one’s worth dusting off the old console for.
