Download Virtua Fighter 2 (E) v1.001 ROM – SEGA Saturn Game

Game Overview

Virtua Fighter 2 on the Saturn still holds up surprisingly well—those chunky 3D models and stiff animations somehow turn into something fluid once you start throwing punches. You pick from fighters like Akira with his brutal karate or Pai and her lightning-fast strikes, and within seconds you're trying to figure out why your roundhouse kicks keep missing (hint: timing matters way more than button mashing).

The stages have this weirdly nostalgic early-3D charm, from dojos to rocky cliffs, and the AI doesn’t mess around even on normal difficulty. I spent way too long getting wrecked by Lau’s sneaky counters before realizing blocking exists. It’s one of those fighters where losing feels fair—like you just need to practice, not rage-quit.

If you’ve got a Saturn or an emulator, this is still one of the best ways to experience ’90s arcade fighting at home.
