Okay, so Voltage Fighter: Gowcaizer is this weird, hyper 90s Neo Geo fighter where you play as these mutant high school students with insane powers. Think Street Fighter meets an anime someone scribbled during math class. The roster’s small but wild—you’ve got a guy who turns into a panther, another who fights with a giant tuning fork, and my personal favorite, this dude who just throws exploding baseballs.

It’s janky in that classic Neo Geo way—super fast, kinda unbalanced, and the AI will absolutely wreck you if you button mash. But there’s something charming about how over-the-top it is. The stages are these chaotic schoolyard brawls with destructible desks and lockers flying everywhere. No fancy combos here, just pure, unfiltered chaos.

Also, the announcer yells "GOWCAIZER!" like every five seconds. You’ve been warned.
