Game Overview

You're a WW1 fighter pilot in this Amiga classic, swapping between three totally different ways to wreck the enemy. Sometimes you're bombing from above, lining up targets like some kind of deadly puzzle. Other times, you're in an isometric strafing run—just unloading endless bullets into anything that moves (which feels way more satisfying than it should). But the real meat is the 3D dogfights, chasing down planes with that behind-the-cockpit view that makes every turn feel sketchy as hell.

Between missions, you get these little diary snippets from your pilot—war stories, dark humor, the occasional bit of homesickness. They're short but weirdly effective at making the whole thing feel less arcade-y. The missions span 1916 to 1918, so you watch the tech (and the stakes) change as you go. One minute you're in a rickety biplane, the next you're dodging flak in something that almost feels modern.

It's got that old-school vibe where the controls take a second to click, but once they do, you'll be banking hard to shake that one German ace who just won't quit. The diary bits are a nice touch—like catching your breath between rounds.
