Play World Class Leader Board Online
Pick your club, time your swing just right, and pray you don’t shank it into the rough—those pixelated greens still punish you like it’s 1986.

Game Overview
World Class Leader Board was my first real golf game back in the DOS days, and honestly, it still holds up. You get four courses to pick from—three real ones like St. Andrews and this brutal fictional Gauntlet Country Club that always wrecked my score. The 3D view of the course feels basic now, but at the time, seeing the fairway stretch out in front of you was pretty cool.
Gameplay’s all about timing: hit the button to start the swing meter, again to set power, and one last time to nail the accuracy. Mess up that third press, and your ball’s in the rough (or worse). Wind matters if you’re playing pro or amateur mode, but kid mode strips it back to just clean shots. Clubs are simple—wood, iron, wedge—until you’re on the green, where the putter takes over automatically.
The later EGA version added color and better sound, but even the original had this satisfying crunch when you hit a perfect drive. And yeah, that scoreboard after each hole? Still feels good when you birdie. It’s straightforward golf, no frills, just you against the course.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
