Game Overview
Yoshi's Cookie is one of those SNES puzzle games that looks cute but gets surprisingly intense. You're sliding rows of cookies around, trying to match flavors in lines—sounds simple, but when the screen fills up and you're scrambling to line up those last few strawberry or chocolate ones before the timer runs out, it gets chaotic in the best way. The music's upbeat, Yoshi pops in with his little noises, and before long you're muttering "just one more try" at 2 AM.
It starts easy, but the later stages throw in weird cookie shapes and faster speeds that really test your reflexes. I always hated when the mint ones showed up—they look too similar to the vanilla at a glance. Still, it's weirdly satisfying when you nail a big combo and the whole row clears at once. Definitely one of the better snack-themed puzzle games from that era.
