Game Overview
Yoshi’s Cookie is one of those SNES puzzle games that looks cute but gets surprisingly intense. You’re sliding rows of cookies around, trying to match up three or more of the same type—sounds simple, but the board fills up fast, especially in later levels. The Yoshi cookie is your wildcard, wiping out entire rows when you’re in a pinch, but you’ve gotta time it right.
What I love about this version is the puzzle mode. Instead of racing against the clock, you’re given a set number of moves to clear the board, and some of those 100 puzzles get seriously tricky. Two-player mode is chaos in the best way—nothing like watching your friend panic as their side of the screen piles up. It’s a great mix of strategy and quick thinking.
