Play A Day at the Races Online
You're dodging fences and shoving other jockeys while your pixel horse stumbles around like it's had three beers—pure DOS chaos with terrible, hilarious AI.

Game Overview
Ever played one of those MS-DOS games that somehow makes pixelated horses feel intense? A Day at the Races is exactly that—a chaotic scramble where you’re weaving through obstacles, elbowing (hoofing?) rival jockeys, and praying your horse doesn’t faceplant into a fence. The controls are simple—mostly just trying not to veer into the crowd—but the AI opponents have this weird, endearing habit of suddenly going full speed or tripping over their own hooves.
It’s janky in that classic DOS way, but there’s something weirdly satisfying about the clunky animations and the way the crowd cheers in tinny MIDI. Not gonna lie, I lost my first three races because I kept mistiming jumps, but once you get the rhythm, it’s oddly hard to quit. Perfect for when you want racing without the realism—just pure, dumb retro chaos.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
