Play Adventures in Magic Kingdom Online

Adventures in Magic Kingdom came out on the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1990, developed by Capcom. It was part of that wave of licensed games trying to capture a specific world, in this case, the feeling of actually being in the theme park. You don't see many games based on a real world location like this, especially from that era.

You control a kid who has to find six keys hidden in different Disneyland attractions to unlock the park's gates for the big parade. The gameplay shifts depending on the ride; you'll platform through Peter Pan's flight, solve a sliding block puzzle in the Haunted Mansion, and even do a side-scrolling shooting stage on Space Mountain. It's not a long game, but some sections, like the Autopia driving stage, can be surprisingly tough to get right. The whole thing feels like a strange but earnest tour through a simplified, 8-bit version of the park.
