Play Allan Borders Cricket Online
Nailing a six with clunky arrow key controls feels weirdly good, even when your batsman swings like he's swatting a mosquito. Fielders slide around like they're on butter, and that tinny crowd roar never gets old.

Game Overview
Remember when cricket games were simple? Allan Border’s Cricket on MS-DOS was my go-to back in the day—no fancy motion capture, just you, a keyboard, and the satisfying clunk of a well-timed six. The controls were basic (arrow keys to move, space to swing), but that somehow made nailing a cover drive even sweeter. Fielding was chaotic in the best way—players moved like they were on ice, and catches either stuck or didn’t with zero in-between.
It’s janky by today’s standards, sure, but there’s something about the chunky sprites and that tinny crowd noise that still feels right. I spent hours trying to replicate Border’s gritty batting style, even though every shot looked like the batsman was swatting a fly. If you’ve got a soft spot for 90s sports games, this one’s like digging up an old scorebook from the garage—rough around the edges, but full of memories.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
