Play Amulet of Yendor Online
You crawl through shifting dungeons as a lonely @ symbol, never knowing if the next room holds treasure or a gnoll ambush—scrolls feel like gold, and every corner could kill you.

Game Overview
Amulet of Yendor is one of those old-school MS-DOS dungeon crawlers where you never know what you're walking into—literally. Every time you start a new game, Yendor’s castle shuffles its rooms, traps, and loot like some sadistic dungeon master. One run you might stumble into a room full of healing potions, the next you’re face-to-face with a pack of gnolls before you’ve even found a decent weapon.
It’s brutal in that charmingly unfair way early roguelikes loved to be. No hand-holding, no tutorials—just you, a flickering @ symbol on the screen, and the creeping dread that the next door might be your last. The randomness keeps it tense, even after a dozen runs. You’ll learn to hoard scrolls like a paranoid wizard and never trust a suspiciously empty corridor.
If you’ve got the patience for its quirks, there’s something weirdly satisfying about finally grabbing that amulet after a hundred stupid deaths.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
