Game Overview

If you grew up feeding quarters into arcade cabinets, this SNES collection will hit you right in the nostalgia. It's got six classic Atari games—Asteroids, Battlezone, Centipede—all the ones where you either shoot geometric shapes or desperately defend against them. The ports are decent, though you'll notice the controls feel a little different without the original trackballs and joysticks.

Weirdly, the best part might be the bonus interviews with Atari developers. Hearing them talk about making Battlezone with vector graphics in 1980 makes you appreciate how wild early arcade tech was. Tempest still holds up as the standout, that trippy tunnel shooter where everything moves way faster than you remember.

Just don't expect modern conveniences like save states. This is pure, unforgiving arcade action exactly as it was—frustrating, addictive, and over way too quickly.
