Game Overview

Hudson Soft released B-Densetsu! Battle B-Daman: Moero! B-Damashii!! for the Game Boy Advance in 2004. It was part of that wave of tie-in games based on anime and toy lines, common for the handheld at the time. You don't see many people talk about it now, but it was a solid attempt to bring the marble-blasting battles of the B-Daman franchise to a portable screen.

You control a B-Daman, a small robot that fires marbles, in turn-based arena battles against an opponent. The main objective is to knock all of your rival's marbles out of the arena or deplete their health by hitting them directly. Key mechanics include carefully aiming your shots to account for ricochets off walls, charging your attacks for more power, and using special moves that consume a meter. The pacing is deliberate, requiring you to think a few bounces ahead rather than just firing wildly. It feels genuinely rewarding when you plan a complex bank shot that clears your opponent's last piece from the board.
