Ever wanted to feel like you stepped straight out of a VHS action movie? Bad Dudes vs. Dragon Ninja is that game where you punch ninjas in the face while wearing fingerless gloves—because of course you do. You play as either Blade or Striker (names that sound like rejected GI Joe characters), and your job is to rescue the president from, uh, dragon ninjas. Yeah, it makes zero sense, and that’s the beauty of it.

The first level throws you right into a city street where ninjas pop out of manholes like some kind of ridiculous whack-a-mole game. You’ll grab pipes off the ground, elbow-drop enemies in slow motion, and occasionally stop to read dialogue so cheesy it could melt a grilled cheese sandwich. The co-op mode is where it really shines—nothing bonds two people like spamming jump kicks while yelling at the screen.

It’s janky, it’s unfair at times, and the controls take a minute to get used to. But there’s something weirdly satisfying about the way enemies ragdoll when you uppercut them into the stratosphere. By the time you’re fighting on top of a speeding truck, you’ll either love it or question your life choices. Either way, you won’t forget it.
