Play Bad Dudes vs. Dragon Ninja (Europe) Online
Punch ninjas in slow-mo, elbow-drop fools off dumpsters, and rescue the president from... dragon ninjas? Pure 80s VHS nonsense, best played with a buddy spamming jump kicks.
Bad Dudes vs. Dragon Ninja came out on the NES in 1990, published by Data East. It was part of that wave of arcade-style beat 'em ups that felt right at home on the system, straightforward and built for quick sessions. The premise is as silly as it sounds: the president has been kidnapped by ninjas, and it's up to you (or you and a friend) to get him back.
You control one of two martial artists, moving screen by screen through urban and industrial settings. Your main goal is to fight through endless waves of enemies, using punches, kicks, and occasional weapon pickups like knives or throwing stars. The game is known for its fast, sometimes chaotic pacing, with enemies swarming in from both sides of the screen. It can get pretty tough, especially in later stages where timing and spacing become crucial. Playing it feels like a brisk, slightly janky trip through a low-budget action movie.
