Play Bandit Online
Dodge cops in a pixelated muscle car, swerving through roadblocks while that tinny PC speaker siren gets louder—your palms will sweat by the third chase.

Game Overview
Bandit is one of those MS-DOS games that somehow makes pixelated car chases feel ridiculously intense. You're basically a getaway driver with a lead foot, swerving past cop cars and roadblocks while grabbing whatever loot you can. The controls are dead simple—just arrow keys and a prayer—but after a few runs, you'll be white-knuckling it like you're actually being chased.
What I love is how the game slowly cranks up the pressure. At first it's just a couple of cops lazily tailing you, but before long you're weaving through a full-on police blockade while the siren blares. The graphics are obviously ancient by today's standards, but there's something weirdly satisfying about the chunky sprites and that screechy PC speaker soundtrack.
If you've ever played an early GTA game and thought "I wish this had fewer menus and more crashing into things," Bandit is basically your dream come true. It holds up way better than it has any right to.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
