Play Bandit Online
Drive a muscle car, dodge police, weave through traffic, and survive as long as you can in Bandit, a classic arcade challenge from the 80s.
Bandit was part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, a compilation of early titles that captured the spirit of computing in the 1980s. It was developed by Richard Carr and published by Sirius Software, offering a straightforward but tense arcade experience that felt right at home on the platform. The game didn't try to be more than it was; it was a product of its time, built for quick sessions and immediate challenge.
You control a lone driver in a muscle car, viewed from above, tasked with outrunning police cruisers across multiple screens of highway. The main objective is to survive as long as possible while avoiding roadblocks and pursuing vehicles. Signature mechanics include weaving through traffic to create obstacles for the cops, and managing your speed to prevent spinning out during sharp turns. The pacing is relentless; one mistake often leads to a pileup or a swift capture. It feels like a high-stakes game of cat and mouse where every second counts.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
