Game Overview

Bar Games is that weird little MS-DOS title you'd find buried in a bargain bin in 1992—and honestly? It's way more fun than it has any right to be. You boot it up and suddenly your beige PC becomes this pixelated dive bar with darts sticking out of the monitor, pool balls that somehow have more physics than Windows 3.1, and an arm wrestling minigame that makes you mash keys like your pride depends on it.

The darts game tricked me at first—I kept overshooting the board until I realized you gotta account for the weird floaty trajectory. And the pool? Surprisingly decent for something running on what might as well be a calculator. Everything’s got that chunky, colorful look that makes you nostalgic even if you weren’t alive when floppy disks were a thing.

It’s not deep, but that’s the point. You’ll play three rounds, laugh at how janky the animations are, then immediately challenge your friend to “just one more game” of virtual skee-ball. The whole thing feels like finding an old pack of gum in a jacket pocket—questionable, but weirdly satisfying.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
