Okay, so Baseball Fighter is basically what happens when someone takes an NES baseball game and spikes it with pure chaos. The pitcher might hurl a fireball one second, then a slow-mo curveball the next—and your batter swings like they’re holding a tree trunk. It’s ridiculous in the best way.

I thought it’d be another generic sports title, but nope. The fielders dive like acrobats, the crowd goes nuts for no reason, and half the time you’re just laughing at how over-the-top everything is. No deep strategy here, just pure arcade energy. It’s a shame it never made it outside Japan, but if you dig weird retro gems, this one’s a home run.
