Batman [T-Swed0.99] is a side-scrolling action game for the NES where you play as Batman punching and kicking through Gotham's streets. The first level throws you right into it—dark alleys, thugs popping out of nowhere, and that stiff NES jump you have to get used to.

The controls take some adjusting—hitting enemies feels a little delayed, and the platforming can be unforgiving. But there’s something satisfying about the way Batman moves, especially when you nail a tricky jump or finally take down a boss after a few tries.
