Play Batman Returns on Msdos Online

Creeping across Gotham’s rooftops solving weird puzzles instead of brawling—classic '90s PC Batman with all the janky charm you’d expect. The pixel art nails that rainy Gotham vibe while you fight the controls as much as the riddles.

Game Overview

Batman Returns on MS-DOS is one of those weird, forgotten gems that plays nothing like the arcade or console versions. Instead of brawling through waves of thugs, you're solving puzzles and sneaking around Gotham in this weird hybrid of point-and-click adventure and light stealth. The controls take some getting used to—typical early '90s PC jank—but there's something oddly satisfying about piecing together clues as Batman instead of just punching everything.

Funny how Konami assumed PC gamers back then only wanted slower, thinkier games. The pixel art's actually pretty moody for its time, especially the way shadows stretch across Gotham's rooftops. Just don't expect it to play like anything modern—half the challenge is wrestling with the interface.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
