Batman Returns came out in 1992 for MS-DOS, published by Konami. You control Batman, moving screen by screen through Gotham's streets and buildings. The main goal is to rescue Selina Kyle and stop the Red Triangle Circus Gang. Key mechanics include using your Batarang to hit distant switches and grappling to higher platforms to navigate the multi-level stages. The pacing is deliberate, almost puzzle-like, and the difficulty can be unforgiving with precise jumps and enemy placement. It feels like a slow, methodical crawl through a hostile city where every mistake costs you.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
