Game Overview

Bio-ship Paladin is one of those arcade shooters that feels familiar at first—until you realize you’re piloting a living, breathing ship that literally grows bigger when you power it up. The Gomorrah starts off small, but grab a few life-ups and suddenly you’re this massive, screen-filling beast tearing through alien fleets. It’s weirdly satisfying to watch your ship evolve mid-battle.

What makes it stand out is the dual-control setup: you steer the ship with one hand while manually aiming shots in any direction with a cursor. Takes some getting used to—you’ll pause a lot to line up tricky shots—but once it clicks, weaving through bullet patterns while sniping enemies from awkward angles feels great. The stages throw everything at you, from swarms of tiny fighters to screen-filling bosses that look like they crawled out of a biomechanical nightmare.

Originally an arcade game, the port tweaks the difficulty since you’re stuck using a d-pad instead of a trackball. Still brutal, but in that "one-more-try" way. Bring a friend for co-op if you want someone to share the pain (or steal their power-ups when they die).
