Bionicle Heroes on the DS is one of those weirdly satisfying action games where you blast through waves of enemies as different elemental heroes. At first, I thought it’d just be a basic shooter, but swapping between fire, ice, and stone powers keeps things interesting—especially when you figure out which elements work best against certain enemies.
The controls are simple (mostly stylus-aiming and button mashing), but there’s something weirdly addictive about plowing through robot hordes as a tiny, screen-sized Toa. The levels are short enough for quick play sessions, though some of the later boss fights had me retrying way more than I’d like to admit.
If you grew up with Bionicle or just want a no-frills action game for the DS, this one’s a solid pick. Just don’t expect a deep story—it’s mostly about blowing stuff up with cool elemental attacks.
