Bomberman Max 2 - Bomberman Version (Hyperion) is one of those GBA games that feels simple at first, but gets surprisingly deep once you get into it. You start in these tight little mazes, dropping bombs to break blocks and take out enemies, but the real challenge comes from figuring out the timing—blow up the wrong thing too early, and you might trap yourself.
I remember one level where I kept getting cornered by these fast-moving enemies, and the only way out was to chain explosions just right. The controls are responsive, though, which helps when things get chaotic. The art style is bright and clean, typical of the GBA era, but the explosions still feel satisfying.
